Keystone Coaching & Consulting, LLC, a leadership coaching and human resources consulting firm, is directed by Mark deRoo, President. As the firm’s lead coach and consultant, Mr. deRoo assists key and emerging leaders and their organizations increase their capacity to take action on those things that will make a positive difference for their lives, their careers, and their organizations. Frequently, he is called upon to assist leaders on matters of communication, productivity/focus, strategic thinking, and leadership presence.

Mr. deRoo’s professional background includes more than 20 years in human resources positions in manufacturing and service industries, including positions with Herman Miller, Inc.,
Trans-Matic Manufacturing Co., and Manpower, Inc.

Mark earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Western Michigan University,
a Bachelor’s degree from Hope College, plus additional study in the field of “emotional intelligence” at the Weatherhead School for Management (Case Western Reserve University).
He holds the designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), is a graduate of Corporate Coach University, and is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation.
Mark is the former Chairperson of the Holland Area Chamber of Commerce, past-president of the Holland A.M. Rotary Club, and a former City Council Representative for the City of Holland. He is the author of Having a Job Like Recess (A Parent’s Manual for Guiding and Gracing Your Child’s Career Path). Mark is married (Roxanne) and has three adult children (Ingrid, Taylor, & Hillary). His outside passion is mountain climbing; having been to the summit of the highest points in 49 of the 50 states.
